Our January 21 sew day marked the first sew day of 2026, and it set the tone for an incredible year ahead. We were thrilled to welcome a record-breaking 73 people throughout the day. Some stayed to sew, others stopped by to drop off finished quilts, and many joined us for bed turning before heading out. Every role played a part in the day’s success. Not only did we collect 219 quilts at our October Sew Day, but we also gathered 165 other handmade treasures including knit baby hats, festive pillowcases (Halloween and Christmas), stuffed animals, a bag with stuffed dolls inside, Christmas stockings, fun bags, pillows, three Halloween table runners for the Therapeutic Recreation Fall Dance, and even witch hats for the dancers! Our volunteers are truly SEW CREATIVE!
