Busy Hands at February Sew Day

It takes many volunteers, busy hands, and humming sewing machines to create the large number of quilts and special items produced each month for Firehouse Quilts. At our February sew day, 190 quilts were turned in, bringing our 2026 total to 444 quilts already.
We are so grateful for the dedication of our members. Sew days are more than just productive. They are filled with friendship, creativity, and the joy of working side by side for a meaningful cause.
February focused on spreading a little extra love with Valentine themed creations. In addition to the quilts, members also turned in 23 pillowcases, 8 bags, 14 receiving blankets, 1 pillow, 3 crocheted blankets, 2 Valentine wall hangings, 4 Valentine bags, and 2 Valentine table runners.
Every stitch makes a difference, and we are so thankful for the many hands and hearts that make this work possible.
