Another wonderful Sew Day is in the books!

On July 15, we welcomed 67 volunteers who turned in an amazing 193 quilts, 39 pillowcases, 19 bags, 14 crocheted afghans, 6 stuffed animals, 2 bibs, 11 burp cloths, and 100 crocheted baby hats that will soon bring comfort to children, families, and others in need across Colorado.
We also had a very special surprise. An art teacher from Kendrick Lakes Elementary School delivered 11 hand-tied quilts made by her talented 5th grade students. What a wonderful way to teach kindness and community service! Thank you to the students and their teacher for sharing their time, creativity, and caring hearts.
Every quilt tells a story of compassion, and together we're making a difference, one stitch at a time.
