Generous Members Attend Sew Day

On April 15, 69 members of Firehouse Quilts gathered for Sew Day and once again contributed to a record-breaking collection. A total of 202 beautiful quilts were displayed during the bed turning, created for babies, children, Veterans, Shiloh House, Craig Hospital, and many other partner agencies.

Thanks to the group’s continued generosity and productivity, we are able to sustain our donations across Colorado. The two tables holding the quilts were stacked nearly two feet high, a striking display of the impact made in just one day.

In addition to the quilts, members also donated pillowcases, receiving blankets, crocheted blankets, hats, bibs, stuffed animals, and tote bags.
