September Sew Day Highlights
Our September Sew Day was another fun and productive day of quilting and friendship! Fifty-three members gathered on September 16 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Lakewood.
There was plenty to keep everyone busy, including fat quarters, new fabric, donated kits, pillowcase kits, and donated UFOs. It was a great opportunity to find something new to work on while visiting with fellow quilters.
We also celebrated two birthday girls with cookies.
By the end of the day, 146 quilts had been turned in. Members also completed 67 pillowcases, 23 assorted bags, and two very cute quilted Halloween baskets.
A very big THANK YOU to Bonnie, Bob, and their family for setting up for our Sew Day. We truly appreciate all the work that goes into getting everything ready for us!
