On April 13th a donation of 48 snuggle quilts and 13 afghans was donated to the Mountain Resource Center in Conifer. They provide the mountain communities with basic essential services that empower people to thrive. Those in need can use the food pantry, get case management, have Veteran services, family education, job training, and mental health services. Starting in June there will be day camps offered to children 6 – 10 years old. They will be taught social skills and have fun learning art, literacy, and math skills through specialized programs. The FHQ quilts have been handed out to the children at this camp in the past. Thank you to Joyce and Jacque for making this delivery.
