Replenishing the Ralston House Quilt Supply
Jacque and Christie delivered 42 quilts to Ralston House on August 26. Normally, they have fewer clients during the summer, but this year they have been very busy and were in need of more quilts.
The move to their new building has been delayed until the first quarter of 2027. The new facility will be a big improvement, with additional interview rooms and more play areas for children waiting to be interviewed.
Ralston House is a Child Advocacy Center designed to reduce trauma for children who are suspected of being physically or sexually abused or who have witnessed a violent crime. It provides a safe place where a multidisciplinary team can interview children in one location, helping to minimize the number of times a child must tell their story.
We are grateful to our volunteers for continuing to make sure Ralston House has quilts available for the children they serve.
