Quilt Delivery to The Place

On May 21, 2024, Barbara M. delivered 22 quilts to The Place in Colorado Springs.

Hunter D., Karin N., Sarah H. (back row); Theo, (the dog who was busy checking out the quilts), Alaska and Shelly S. \were all very happy to receive the quilts for the kids at The Place.

The Place is a non-profit organization that reached out to us a couple of months ago, requesting quilts for their residents. Their mission is to empower Colorado youth to break the cycle of homelessness and forge supportive relationships, have self-sufficient, successful lives, and have access to safe housing. The Place operates every day and offers meals, clothing and access to healthcare for youth aged 15-20.
