Preparing For Fall at Sew Day

Fifty members of FHQ attended the sew day on August 16th. Halloween quilt kits and fabric were available to all in preparation for the Halloween dance coming up in October. A total of 148 beautiful quilts were viewed during the bed turning. Other items turned in were pillowcases, large bags, fleece blankets, flannel receiving blankets, burp cloths, crocheted scarves and crocheted blankets.

The total number of quilts turned in during 2023 is now 1,300, and there have been 983 quilts donated to various organizations.
