OF COLORADO, INC.

October Sew Day

On October 16, 51 members of Firehouse Quilts met at Above & Beyond Sewing and Vacuum in Littleton. A total of 169 quilts were donated by members that day. This brings the total of quilts taken in so far in 2024 to 1,549. Thus far, 874 quilts have been donated to 27 different agencies with more donations scheduled to take place in November and December.

Also collected at this Sew Day were Halloween-themed quilts, bags and pillow cases to be given to participants at the Highlands Ranch Therapeutic Recreation group's fall dance at the end of October.

Quilts designated to be given to veterans were also collected. Holiday-themed quilts, pillow cases and stockings donated at this meeting will be added to what has already been collected for distribution later in the year.
