Deputy Director of Help and Hope Retiring

For over 15 years Firehouse Quilts has donated quilts to Help and Hope Center through Jenny, the Deputy Director.  Jenny will be retiring this month and is being replaced by Carrie A, the Client Service Manager.  It’s been a pleasure working with Jenny all these years. 

On May 9th, FHQ delivered 56 quilts, 8 afghans, and 27 receiving blankets to Help and Hope.  Their client needs have doubled in the past year, so the need is great for the donations.  Families from Douglas and Elbert counties are reaching out for housing assistance, utility cards, food bank services, clothing, and household items.
