Stable Homes for Children

The Arapahoe County Adoption agency works to connect children with loving and permanent families. The children are placed in homes that will provide lifelong care and stability. A new State Bill was recently passed that requires Arapahoe County to finalize adoptions by July. While at their adoption hearings, the children can personally pick out a quilt donated by Firehouse Quilts on this special day. Pam and Huanson, who are case workers at Arapahoe County, received 40 quilts from Lynn, Christie, and Jacque on May 14 and conveyed that the quilts are cherished by the recipients. Another time that the quilts will be handed out will be in November on National Adoption Day.
