Seventy young adults from the Highlands Ranch Therapeutic Recreation group attended the Halloween Spooktacular Dance on Friday, October 29th. This year Firehouse Quilts donated 51 Halloween themed quilts, 8 large bags, and one pillow case that were door prizes at the dance. The members of FHQ have made quilts for this fun evening for nearly ten years. Summer A, a team leader, wrote in a recent newsletter, “thank you for donating so many beautiful creations. Your quilts and bags were the highlight of the dance and everybody that won one in the raffle was so thrilled.” It’s fun for the FHQ members to know their efforts are appreciated.
