First Donation to Stadium Medical

On August 3rd, Jacque, Christie, Cathy, Karen, and Sara delivered 40 snuggle quilts to Stadium Medical, an ambulance company headquartered in Lakewood. On hand to receive our quilts were Roger, Bernie, Meghan, and Sonja.
Stadium Medical provides ambulance transportation services, including interfacility transfers and 911 emergency response services to the metro area and beyond. Sonja, Field Operations Manager for Stadium Medical, had previously worked for Action Care Ambulance and knew of Firehouse Quilts through that connection. She recently contacted us to say they would love to have pediatric quilts on hand to offer as comfort to children being transported in their ambulances.
After talking with her, she mentioned that children of all ages, as well as elderly patients, would benefit from receiving a quilt. To meet those needs, our next delivery to Stadium Medical will include lap-size quilts as well as snuggles.
