Quilts Donated For Marshall Fire Victims

Updated: Jul 18, 2023

On January 20th, five cars filled with 663 quilts made a drop off at the disaster donation center in Broomfield.  The old Nordstrom’s store at the Flatirons Crossing Mall is serving as a drop off center for new and gently used items for the families who lost their homes and belongings on December 30, 2021.

The ladies who made the donation also took a few minutes to meet up with Lucy, a member of FHQ and her daughter Lori.  Lori unfortunately lost her home and belongings as a result of the fire.  She was presented with quilts, fleece blankets, pillow cases, and crocheted hats for her husband and herself.

Thank you to Christie, Barbara, Karen, Lynn, Sarah and Jacque for making this extraordinary donation possible.
