On February 11th, the Victim Assistance Program for Littleton Police Department received 24 quilts from Firehouse Quilts. Andrea F has been the Victim Assistance Coordinator for Littleton Police for two years. She provides crisis intervention and support to victims of crime and traumatic events. Some of the events are domestic violence, sexual assault, homicide, child abuse, and suicide. Andrea is available to provide the victims with referrals within the city of Littleton, as well as give support during court visits. In 2020 there were 40 people who received assistance from Andrea. Firehouse Quilts is glad that our quilts will provide comfort to the children who are experiencing some type of crisis in their lives.
