Catholic Charities Receives Quilts

On May 14th there were 40 quilts delivered to Catholic Charities of Central Colorado in Castle Rock. Katie, the Director, and Mandy, a caseworker, were thrilled to receive the quilts because their supply was dwindling.

Catholic Charities offers programs and services to help individuals and families move to self sufficiency while experiencing emergencies in their lives. By assessing the needs of clients, they can provide counseling, employment help, and advice for government benefits, and refer them for health services. The greatest need currently is for food assistance, rent/housing assistance, and help with utilities. Elderly clients have a need for gas cards to fill their vehicles to get to doctor appointments. There is a small on-site marketplace for food and hygiene items that many clients visit weekly. This small office is always quite busy helping many in need.
