FIREHOUSE QUILTS

OF COLORADO, INC.

Hope & Help Center Busier than Ever

On December 9, Christie M. met with Jenny at the Help & Hope Center in Castle Rock to deliver 72 quilts, 21 hats, 11 receiving blankets, 20 afghans, 25 stockings, 19 scarves, and 30 pillowcases.

Help & Hope Center serves thousands of people in Douglas and Elbert counties providing assistance for utility and medical bills, finding new jobs, and finding relief during their hardship or crisis. Jenny stated they normally make appointments for 20 clients each morning, but also accept walk-ins. On the day of the delivery, they saw the 20 scheduled clients plus 8 walk-ins.

They were very excited for our donation and said they would start distributing the items immediately.
