For several years Patty Z has made extremely generous donations of fabrics, kits, jelly rolls, layer cakes, and quilt tops to Firehouse Quilts. Three big boxes of surprises recently arrived with a variety of items for the members of FHQ. Patty lives in Wray, Colorado and has a small group of ladies who have sewed with her for many causes around their community. In the past year they made 68 Christmas stockings, pillow case kits, 120 I-Spy quilt kits, 600 fabric masks, and a variety of three yard quilt kits. The support that Firehouse Quilts receives from this small army of ladies is greatly appreciated.
Our group will enjoy going through the recently donated fabrics in order to make quilts for children/patients in crisis in Colorado. The thirty quilt tops will soon be quilted and ready for the children also. Thank you for all you do in Wray.
