Visitors at Sew Day

It was good to have visitors attend the sew day on June 21st. The group met at the Church of Jesus Christ in Lakewood. Sherri M, who moved to Ohio about seven years ago, helped to do the bed turning with the quilts. Ellen P, a FHQ member who we haven’t seen for a while, brought in six quilts from Terry and Phyllis M, who have moved to Kansas. Two ladies brought in four beautiful quilts that the Solana Quilters group made and donated. There were 183 quilts turned in at the sew day as well as nine pillowcases, 10 crocheted blankets, and 16 crocheted hats. The total number of quilts turned in this year is 964 and 657 of those have been donated.
