Students at The Grove Receive Quilts

On October 9, Jacque and Christie delivered quilts to Becky from Warren Village at Ivy Crossing apartments. Warren Village is a Colorado nonprofit dedicated to helping low-income single-parent families in the Denver area who are unhoused or facing housing instability.

Warren Village at Ivy Crossing has several programs residents can access. The Grove is a program that includes activities that enhance social, emotional, intellectual, physical, and creative health for school aged children. Activities include physical games, arts and crafts, STEM, and homework help. It was formerly known as the Kids’ Club, but older children didn’t like telling their friends they were going to Kids’ Club.

The quilts were handed out on October 17 at the coat distribution (from a coat drive) for the children. They each got a coat and a quilt to stay warm this winter.
