Special Delivery to TESSA

November 14, 2024, was a special day for TESSA in Colorado Springs when Carol G. and Barbara M. delivered 100 quilts. Stephanie was on hand to help load all the quilts into a couple of carts.

The quilts will be available at the annual Christmas event in December for all the women and children to select a quilt as well as other items that have been donated to TESSA.

TESSA was established in 1977 in response to a high rate of calls to local law enforcement from women threatened or assaulted by their partners.

TESSA now provides immediate safety at their confidential Safehouse for women, children and other victims escaping abuse. TESSA empowers survivors through programs and support such as Advocacy and Counseling. TESSA creates a safer future through education and outreach to schools, businesses and other organizations.
