Sheridan Victim Advocate's Office Receives Quilts

On June 23rd, Tina A, the Victim Advocate Coordinator for Sheridan Police Department, received 40 quilts from Firehouse Quilts. The quilts will be put in the police cars and used by the office staff for emergency needs in the City of Sheridan. Tina is called to homes, accidents, on the street calls, and schools to assist with the needs of many. The biggest call load now for her and the interns who help her is domestic violence. She is responsible for finding a safe place for victims to stay and following up with protective orders and rehabilitation services. Everyone she meets with will receive a quilt made by Firehouse Quilts. If seen in the office, they are greeted by a quilt on the couch and a soft stuffed toy. Thank you to Joyce and Jacque for making this delivery.
