FIREHOUSE QUILTS

OF COLORADO, INC.

Sew Day Has Visitors From Craig Hospital

On October 19th there were 48 members of FHQ at the sew day. Jill, the Volunteer Coordinator at Craig Hospital, and her assistant, Abby, paid a visit to the sew day to see the process of quilts being shown during the bed turning. They were able to personally pick out their own quilts during that time and take them back to the hospital with them. It's always fun to meet representatives from the organizations that Firehouse Quilts donates to.

There were 203 quilts turned in as well as 28 pillow cases, 2 Halloween bags, 44 Christmas stockings, 14 scarves, and 4 dolly quilts. The total number of quilts turned in at sew days is now 2,071 for 2022, which is a record amount!
