Seven Stars Foundation Receives Quilts

On May 18th, Firehouse Quilts donated 90 quilts to the Seven Stars Foundation. Kala and Dave M received the quilts from Christie M, and they will be delivering them to children of fallen, wounded, and active duty parents in the military. The children meet every summer at YMCA camps in Colorado, California, Connecticut and Alabama that are sponsored by the Seven Stars Foundation. They spend a week at camp with no charge to their families. Seven Stars is an all volunteer corporation established February 7, 2007 when a USMC helicopter with seven crew members was shot down in Iraq, killing all seven. They are honored with every military child sponsored at the camps.
