Quilts to Comfort Family of Arvada Firefighter

Our friends at Arvada Fire suffered a tragedy recently and Firehouse Quilts wanted to help. One of their firefighters was killed in a car accident while he was off duty and Jacque suggested we give quilts to his family. Our contacts were thrilled.

Barbara C. delivered nine quilts to be given to his mother, girlfriend, and siblings. The quilts were brought to the family by our Arvada Fire contacts about a month after his funeral.

The timing was good as there is so much activity following a death, but once things slow down the family has more time to grieve. Our quilts will offer them comfort and warmth.
