FIREHOUSE QUILTS

OF COLORADO, INC.

Quilts of Comfort and Hope

On September 7, 2023, Barbara M. delivered 12 quilts to TESSA of Colorado Springs. Christine M. was so happy to receive them.

TESSA was established in 1977 in response to a high rate of calls to local law enforcement from women threatened or assaulted by their partners.

Fundamentally, TESSA does three things:

▪️ Provides immediate safety at their confidential Safehouse for women, children, and other victims escaping abuse.

▪️ Empowers survivors through programs and support such as Advocacy and Counseling

▪️ Creates a safer future through Education and Outreach to schools, businesses and other organizations.
