On August 4th a delivery of quilts was made to Florence Crittenton High School. Yara V, the Volunteer and Special Events Coordinator, said that the quilts will be handed out to the new Moms at a Back To School Night on August 22nd. There will be tables with filled back packs, baby needs, and our quilts for the students. They will also be treated to root beer floats and snacks. In addition to the quilts, there were 29 crocheted afghans and 35 receiving blankets donated. The teenage mothers, grades 9 - 12, receive a rigorous, supportive and personalized learning environment at Florence Crittenton. Thanks to Joyce and Jacque for making the delivery.
