Quilting Retreat in Estes Park

A small group of Firehouse Quilts members, their family members and friends attended a quilting retreat at the YMCA of the Rockies, in Estes Park.  The event was held on October first through the third.  Long’s Peak Lodge has a spectacular view of Rocky Mountain National Park.  There was a touch of fall in the air and the change of color in the trees was beginning, making the stay there very special.  For two full days the ladies were able to sew and work on personal as well as FHQ projects.  This annual fall event was missed last year due to the pandemic so it was a delight to be able to return in 2021.
