FIREHOUSE QUILTS

OF COLORADO, INC.

Quilt Delivery to TESSA in Colorado Springs

Christine M. at TESSA in Colorado Springs was so excited and very thankful to receive two deliveries of quilts from Barbara M. in December. The delivery of 120 quilts (80 quilts on Dec. 5 and 40 quilts on Dec. 15) were distributed to women and children at TESSA’s annual Christmas event. So often the women and children have to leave home without anything so these quilts will be a very welcome gift.

TESSA’s mission is to help individuals and their children achieve safety and well being while challenging communities to end sexual and family violence.

TESSA provides immediate safety at their confidential safe house for women, children and other victims escaping abuse.

TESSA empowers survivors through programs and support such as Advocacy and Counseling.

TESSA creates a safer future through education and outreach to schools, businesses and other organizations.
