FIREHOUSE QUILTS

OF COLORADO, INC.

Quilt Delivery to Craig Hospital

On June 12, Barbara C had the pleasure of joining Jandel (Craig Hospital CEO) in delivering quilts to Craig Hospital patients. Twelve quilts were delivered. In some cases, family members were there also and said how the quilts made the patients room look and feel more homey. Our quilts brightened a gray and gloomy day in Colorado.

Jandel knew one of the patient's personally and knew she was quite a gardener. We found a perfect quilt covered with flowers for her. She was so grateful.

The husband of one patient we met is a retired EMT from Colorado Springs. He wanted to know the story of our beginning. His daughter is now an EMT in Colorado Springs and he will see if her captain would be interested in a partnership with FHQ. You just never know who you are going to run into in life! This was a special day.
