FIREHOUSE QUILTS

OF COLORADO, INC.

Quilt Delivery to Craig Hospital

On August 22, Barbara C delivered 17 quilts and pillowcases to Abby at Craig Hospital. There is always such a warm welcome when FHQ arrives.

Although we still deliver quits in the driveway, not in the hospital, Barbara was introduced to the sculpture shown below, which is outside the hospital building.

"The Winner" was designed and executed by world - renowned sculptor and former Craig patient, Glenna Goodacre. The sculpture symbolizes an extraordinary culture of healing, rebuilding, and celebration of each milestone along the path to recovery.

"The Winner" was graciously donated to Craig by Glenna and her husband CL Mike Schmidt in 2011.
