On July 27th, Jacque, Karen, and Christie delivered 46 quilts and 26 drawstring bags to Suzy M. at CASA of Denver. CASA of Denver is currently serving about 200 children and young adults. They have started a program to mentor young adults that have aged out of the system.
There was a back to school picnic on August 13 for all the CASA children. Each child received a backpack with school supplies. They were also given a quilt and a drawstring bag which will help them carry the ‘goodies’ they received at the picnic.
