Perfect Weather for Quilt Collection Day

On April 23rd, there were 54 members who attended another quilt collection day at the Above and Beyond Sewing parking lot. The weather was perfect to gather and have a few minutes to pick up fabrics, kits, and batting. Thanks to Ruth B, who provided delicious LaMar’s donuts for everyone to enjoy while they looked around. There were a total of 345 beautiful quilts turned in, photographed, folded, and bagged. In addition to the quilts, there were 4 pillow cases, 3 BACA bags, 6 baby hats, and 3 adult hats turned in. In order to make this process work successfully, there were 20 volunteers who worked diligently to prepare everything for the storage bin. Thank you to all of the members of FHQ for helping to make this process work during the past 14 months.
