Help and Hope is Very Busy

The staff at Help and Hope in Castle Rock has seen more than twice as many clients this year as in past years. There are families, single moms, and homeless people needing assistance with food, shelter, energy bills, and rent. Some families are three months behind with their bills and are struggling to make ends meet. The food bank has been so busy that they are running short of supplies currently.

When a new client comes into Help and Hope, the quilts that Firehouse Quilts donates are handed out to them in the hope that it brings them some bit of comfort. There were 56 quilts donated on May 22nd to Jenny, Tamara, Kim, and Rebecca.

Along with the quilts, they also received 20 pillowcases, 14 afghans, and 9 fleece blanket/pillow sets. Help and Hope wants our volunteers to know just how appreciative they are for the continued support from FHQ.
