Gifts Delivered to Support Teen Moms at Florence Crittenton

On November 18, Firehouse Quilts members Jacque S and Sara V delivered 59 quilts, 18 pillow cases, 11 afghans, 13 dolly quilts, 3 receiving sets, 7 fleece blankets and 40 stockings to Florence Crittenton.

FloCrit, as the organization is known, is a Denver-based nonprofit working to educate, prepare and empower teenage mothers and their children. This organization provides many services for their clients such as a student & family support program, on-site high school, early childhood education center and an on-site health center.

These donations will be distributed at a holiday gathering just before winter break, where the teen moms can select gifts for their children, with a particular focus this year on stockings.
