Firehouse Quilts made a delivery to Florence Crittenton High School on December 6th. The items that were donated were handed out at the Christmas gathering on December 16th to the Moms and babies.
Florence Crittenton is a high school that educates and prepares teen Moms ages 14 - 21 for their futures. The school provides healthcare, college planning, childcare and early childhood education, diapers and other basic needs for the babies, transportation and housing support.
Yara, the Volunteer Coordinator, gave Dale, Sybil and Jacque a brief tour of the nurseries, childcare centers and playgrounds. Thanks to Yara and Omar for their help unloading the donated items.
