Firehouse Quilts Represented at “Just Serve” Fair

On September 7th, Bonnie M represented Firehouse Quilts at the “Just Serve” fair that was held by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Lakewood.  At the fair, a great variety of needed items were donated to support local humanitarian projects within the Denver area.  Bonnie was able to meet with people and explain the mission of FHQ to them. 

Nearly 350 attended the event this year.  There were women looking for an organization to donate their quilts to in the future and others who were interested in volunteering with FHQ.  Bonnie handed out ten kits to be completed, which should be returned by Thanksgiving.  There were 9 quilts that were donated to service groups in need of them.
