On December 14th, there were 35 members who attended the last sew day of the year at Above and Beyond Sewing. Prizes were handed out to the people who participated in the Christmas challenge for making quilts and stockings.
There were 170 stockings made with Ruth B receiving first place for making 46. Second place went to Dana H for making 24 stockings. There were a total of 46 Christmas quilts made. First place went to Judy H for making 8 and second place went to Rose L for making 6 Christmas quilts. Thanks to all who participated in the Christmas challenge.
There were 77 quilts to view in the bed turning. The grand total for quilts turned in during 2022 is now 2,366 quilts! There have been 2,207 quilts donated thus far in 2022. Our volunteers are a caring group who set new records each year by making quilts for children/patients in crisis.
