FHQ Members Attend “Appreciation” Event

On October 15th and 16th a group of 24 Firehouse Quilts members attended an appreciation event at the Roxborough Community Center. Once a year the members are treated to two days of sewing, door prizes, thank you gifts, and a dinner and lunch. The Board of FHQ holds this event in order to show the members how much their hard work throughout the year has been appreciated. Without their efforts FHQ would not be able to provide quilts to children/patients in crisis across Colorado. The weather was perfect and the wildlife put on a show for everyone to enjoy. This peaceful location in Roxborough is perfect for a couple of days of relaxation.
