Karen C and Barbara C recently delivered quilts to the Women's Bean Project. Ten quilts, 10 baby blankets and 10 crocheted blankets were delivered. Amy O., the new Program Manager, was there to greet us and gave us a tour of the facility to include the production area where women were putting products together for shipping.
Amy told us that they had just hired eight new women to begin the nine month program which gets the women ready for new employment. Our quilts will be offered to the women as they graduate the Women's Bean Project program.
