Delivery to Sacred Heart House

On August 9, 16 snuggle and 8 larger quilts were delivered to Sacred Heart House of Denver located in the Curtis Park section of Denver. Delores, the house manager, gave Jacque, Cathy and Karen a tour of the building which used to be a convent. The building was repurposed into a place where single mothers, their children and single women experiencing homelessness could stay. They offer programs to help these women become self-sufficient, including temporary housing, food, clothing and transportation.
