FIREHOUSE QUILTS

OF COLORADO, INC.

Delivery to Craig Hospital

Following FHQ's March sew day, 20 quilts and 20 pillowcases were delivered to Craig Hospital. As Barbara was unloading her trunk, a woman approached her to offer help and asked if these were quilts from Firehouse Quilts. She said that her husband had a stroke and was now an outpatient. He had been given one of our quilts when he was in the hospital fulltime. He told his wife he got the best sleep when he was under one of our quilts.

After bringing the quilts to our contact, Barbara met a current patient's mother in the lobby and helped her select a quilt for her son who had a recent ski accident at Eldora.
