Delivery to Catholic Charities

On February 1st, Paul, Ty, and Lisa, who work in the Catholic Charities Central Colorado office, received a donation of 73 quilts, 9 fleece blankets, 24 scarves, and 33 warm hats from Firehouse Quilts. This office provides support in the Castle Rock, El Paso County, and Douglas County areas to families and individuals in need. Case managers help to provide shelter, clothing, food, rent and energy assistance, and fuel cards for cars. Since it was the first day of the month, many people were in touch asking for help with their personal needs and the office was very busy. The quilts are many times shared with the Catholic Charities facility in Colorado Springs.
