Delivery to Arvada Fire and Rescue

On July 24, Alice Z. and Barbara C delivered 25 quilts to the Arvada Fire and Rescue team. Half of these quilts will be used on the Fire trucks and ambulances. The other half will be dedicated to the STAR PROGRAM, from which mental health professionals answer non-violent 911 calls.

Arvada's STAR program is the second in the state, Denver implementing the first program. Arvada's team goes out every Tuesday to connect with the homeless to see what services they can offer.

During this delivery we shared stories of our 10+ year partnership and had the chance to see the Arvada STAR vehicle.
