Catholic Charities Will Use Quilts During Holidays

On November 8th, Bonnie and Jacque delivered 76 quilts to Katie, a case worker with Catholic Charities of Central Colorado, in Castle Rock.  This delivery of quilts will be used for the Adopt a Family program during the holidays and will also help others in need.  At the time of the delivery there were 62 families signed up for the program.  Catholic Charities serves anyone in need regardless of religion, race, age, disability, or socioeconomic level.  They advocate for justice for the poor and vulnerable in central Colorado by offering assistance with housing, gas and energy expenses, food, and clothing.  In addition to the quilts Catholic charities also received ten crocheted blankets, 10 receiving blankets, and 20 pillow cases.
