Katie B, case worker for Catholic Charities Central office, recently requested a donation of more quilts from Firehouse Quilts. Their client numbers have increased as well as their needs. The biggest need is rent and utility assistance. Catholic Charities has now lost the Covid funding through the government and is trying to find enough other funds to continue to help their clients.
On June 8th, a delivery of 56 snuggle quilts was made to the Castle Rock office to Katie, Ty and Kathleen. The ladies were so excited about the delivery that they started going through the bags to pick out their favorite quilts to display in the office. They want the volunteers of Firehouse Quilts to know how appreciative they are to receive the quilts.
