In early June, Pam H donated 14 beautiful children’s quilts to Firehouse Quilts. Each quilt was made from colorful fabrics and had been quilted to perfection. Pam started quilting about 16 years ago and because everyone in her family has received quilts from her, she needed a new outlet for her quilts. Her sister-in-law took a class at Above and Beyond Sewing and heard about Firehouse Quilts there. She passed the name along to Pam, who googled FHQ and was able to arrange a donation of her wonderful quilts. She says it feels good to know that she is doing something she loves and that the quilts will be comforting to others.
