Joelle, who lives in Wray, has made quilts for Firehouse Quilts for many years. She recently heard from her daughter in Centennial that her neighbor boy, Finn, was diagnosed with leukemia this spring. He has spent some time in Children's Hospital and is now back home. Finn is twelve years old and loves sports of all kinds, so Joelle wanted to make him a sport themed quilt and pillow case. She chose baseball fabric that FHQ sent to her earlier in the year to make the quilt. Finn is thrilled with the new quilt and pillow case and we hope it helps comfort him during his recovery. Thank you so much to Joelle for carrying out the mission of FHQ by making and donating the quilt to a child in crisis.
