BACA is Busy Again

Because of the pandemic, the Bikers Against Child Abuse organization hasn’t been able to lend their physical presence and emotional support to abused children.  The court system slowed down almost completely in having court cases for the safe placement of children in a home.  Recently the case loads have picked up for BACA, so “Bingo” met with “Cutter” (Christie) and “Ripper” (Jacque) to receive 36 quilts and 188 cloth bags.  The bags will hold a quilt, a stuffed toy, and a picture frame for each child that BACA meets with.  They support children in Adams, Broomfield, Boulder, Jefferson, Denver, Douglas and Arapahoe counties.  BACA gives 24/7 support to the children and will also accompany them to court.  It’s their goal to help with the healing process and help in restoring self-worth and confidence.
